I had a chat with the Lord Emperor (he wishes) Daniel last night about maybe setting up a Penguin event as a regular event that allows the peoples of RuneHints to be social outside of these forums.

Basically I am looking to gauge interest from the peoples on whether or not you would be interested in coming along to such an event, or even just joining into the RuneHints Friends Chat to be social while the event is going on.

Depending on the outcome of this we could also do other regular events. I know Castle Wars is often quite a popular one and stuff.

Main goal from this in my eyes is to expand RH past these forums and make people want to join us.

Thoughts?

I'd be up for some penguins.

Whether I could attend though would be determined by the time, have you had any thoughts on when it could be run?

I must say, I really like this idea. As an ex-rank in world60pengs and used to run these sort of events before I am very interested in doing everything I can do support the event. I do agree with Chris, working out a day and time is going to be the biggest task.

Well I was thinking either evening mid-week GMT/BST or early evening at weekend GMT/BST.

I'm not too sure on the geographic spread of RuneHints so difficult for me to be sure really.

Times I'm thinking of would be one day Mon-Fri at around 8 or 9PM GMT/BST or weekend at around 7PM possibly.

I'd be interested to see if there are any opinions outside of the staff team either for or against this idea?
